Node Ownership and Claiming

Claiming a node connects it to your Discord account for Weekly Net check-ins, streaks, and support. It does not change the radio configuration or transfer control of another person’s equipment.

Claim Your Node

1. Join the Freq51 Discord.
2. Use the /claimnode command.
3. Follow the bot’s prompts to select and verify your node.
4. Use /usernodes to confirm the nodes associated with your account.

If Something Does Not Look Right

• Do not claim a node you do not own or operate.
• If a node is already assigned, ask for help in Discord rather than repeatedly trying to claim it.
• Include the node’s long name, short name, or node ID when requesting help.
